We lost our heart to the Indonesian archipelago. The many beautiful cultures on the different islands, the breathtaking nature, the wonderful beaches and tasty food make us already feel homesick when flying back to the Netherlands. We would love to share our experiences with you.

We are Merapi Tour & Travel, a Dutch tour operator specialised in tours in Indonesia. We know Indonesia inside out and would like to give you a taste of the archipelago, both literally and figuratively. Our tours will bring you in contact with the local people, let you experience their culture, bring you to the most beautiful places, without skipping the famous highlights. Vera, Priscilla, Monique, Jan and Flip will be happy to help you create your trip. We'll also tell you about the dense traffic on West Java, the calling mosques at 5 AM, plastic litter, tips, customs and other things you need to know.

Cruises

Merapi offers you many opportunities to board on one of the traditional Buginese schooners for a relaxing cruise over the Indonesian seas.
During summer period, we offer many luxury trips iin the Bali-Lombok-Komodo-Flores area.
Year around we offer the budget cruise Hunting Komodo by Camera from Lombok to Flores and vice versa.

From autumn to end of winter time, the fleet moves to the eastern part of Indonesia and sails in the Moluccan and Papua area.

Just step aboard and relax and enjoy on either Katharina, Ombak Putih or one of the other ships. The crew will do the rest for you.
