Merasa is a Dayak village about 2 hours drive from Tanjung Redeb. The village has a number of local guesthouses with very simple facilities.
From the village you will sail by motorized canoe in two hours to the primary rainforest and the river island of Bawan. As often in the jungles of Kalimantan you come face to face with the orangutans
