Depapre is a small traditional coastal village, about one hour and a half west from Jayapura.
It’s situated on a bay, from where you can make wonderful snorkelling excursions to Teluk Tanah Merah.
At weekends the resort and beach are very popular by the local people, so very crowded.
The small resort is located directly on the pebble beach and has a number of cottages and a new main building.
There is a small restaurant that serves delicious local cuisine.
At the weekend, resort and beach are crowded with local tourists.
