At 07 AM your driver is ready to take you in some 5 hours to the Nikki Marina harbour, on the border of Ujung Kulong National park. After enjoying your lunch, you will board your local wooden boat and sail for 3 hours to Pecuang island. Around 05 PM, your welcome drink is ready for your. 4 nights at Peucang island.

At 6:00 AM, your driver will be ready to take you on a 3-hour journey to Carita Marina. Here you will board a private speedboat for a scenic 2,5-hour trip to the vulcanic island Anak Krakatau. Before you do a soft trekking on the vulcano, you will enjoy your lunch on the beach. Back on the speedboat, it will sail for about 2,5 hours to Peucang Island. Tanjung Layar is a steep cliff that looks like a big sail (layar) from the sea. The clift is located in western side of Ujung Kulon Peninsula. Many years ago, for the ships coming from the Indian Ocean, the cliff was a sign of the entrance to the Sunda Strait on the east side. So this spot is often called Java Head or Java’s First Point. We can get here after we arrive on Peucang Island. From Peucang Island, first we sail for approximately 15 minutes to a place called Cibom. And from Cibom we do a moderate trekking to Tanjung Layar. The route passes through the beautiful and warm tropical forest and ends at the cliff called Tanjung Layar. Over there we will find a historical site: two lighthouses, an office, and a prison house were constructed in the 1800’s by the Dutch. Then we return to Cibom where you will be transferred back to Peucang Island. This activity takes approximately 3 hours. There are many paths that cross the Ujung Kulon Peninsula thick jungle. All paths offer a wilderness sensation of Ujung Kulon National Park. However, the path that starts at Cibom and continues to Tanjung Layar is the only route where we can find the relic of human history in the past.

There are 4 locations around Peucang Island which have beautiful and healthy coral gardens. First is the beach in front of Batik Villa, the second location is named Ciapus, the third is Citerjun, and the fourth is Sumino. The types of biota and coral are not much different at each snorkeling spot. Most consist of hard corals such as Acropora branching, Acropora Tabular and Stylophora sp. Soft corals such as sea anemones grow in a small area. Grouper fish, surgeonfish, lobster, cuttlefish, blue spotted stingray, lionfish, clown fish, and puffer fish are often spotted throughout coral gardens. The snorkeling spot in front of Batik Villa is a beach entry spot. Just start swimming from the beach in front of Batik Villa number 6 and continuing to the southwest, a stretch of coral is spread along the clear calm water. Turtles and dugongs have been seen at this location but are very rare and no one has been able to capture them.

After breakfast, you will set out with a guide from the resort to the northwestern coral coast of Karang Copong. The route is relatively flat, with a gentle incline at the end. Along the way, you will pass the 20-meter-wide Kiara tree and have the chance to spot deer, wild boars, and exotic birds such as the hornbill. Karang Copong features a rugged coastline where the Pacific Ocean has free rein, with waves crashing against the cliffs. Local tourists love taking selfies here at sunset...
